Lebbeaus R. Wilfley (xx-xx)

First Judge of the United States Court for China in Shanghai. He heard and decided on the Henry N. DeMenil Trial in the US Court for China.

Arthur Bassett (xx-xx)

He was the District Attorney prosecuted Henry N. DeMenil for killing the Tibetan Buddhist monk. Before working for the US Court for China, he had also worked with Lebbeaus Wilfley in the Philippines. After Wilfley’s resignation from the US Court for China, Bassett also resigned from the US Court for China and returned to the United States. It looked like he and Wilfley worked together again in the US.
